Cliche, sure, but there is something powerful in a journey that attracts the eye and fills the heart with wonder and hope. It is something universally understood and speaks to the story we find ourselves in.
Well, today I start a journey of contributing to this blog, and you have the opportunity to let this be the start of our journey together.
For me, this journey started when I'd considered the path I'd been on. Like this picture, if I'd continued straight ahead, it would have led me into the darkness. But God has provided a new path, which like in this picture, bends to the light. God not only gives us a new path, he makes us see the difference between the darkness we are in and the light he wants us to move to. He helps us to want the light more than the darkness.
God in his goodness has shown me a better way, and given me the understanding to know it is better. So often we have moments when we recognize the good path, and then so many times we lose sight of how terrible the bad path is and we lose sight of how beautiful the good path is.
Perhaps you need to take some time to consider your path. Consider how dark the darkness, how beautiful the light.
